Kerfuffle Studios offers a dynamic WORKING environment tailored for individuals or groups eager to create, build, rehearse, film, or explore any combination of these activities.

It's the perfect place for those with unique creative concepts that require room and time to thrive.

Situated in a freshly constructed warehouse, Kerfuffle Studios extends a flexible and cost-effective multi-disciplinary creative haven.
From makers to performers, directors to prop-makers, sculptors, and other daring creatives, all are welcomed to experiment with fresh ideas.

Multi-use Space



- 50 sqm open space with 7 m height. - Optional concrete or rubber floor.

- Great for rehearsals and film set up. - Space for prop-making or installation projects



Workshop



- An additional workshop equipped with a range of wood and metal working tools offers all things necessary for making.

- Prop, set or sculpture projects welcome.



Accessible and Fun



- Accessible bathroom with a shower

- Kitchenette and a sofa for all your needs.

- Pool table for some extra fun and an eclectic selection of retro exercise bikes for your solo or group warm- up..




Flexible Rental



- Kerfuffle Studios offer a flexible rental roster on a 24/7 base.

- Rentals from half day to whatever we agree on.

- Nestled just a stone's throw from the city, our studio sits on the Thomastown side of Keon Parade - Darebin is just across the road!

- The Keon Parade Park train station is 300m away and the M80 is within a whisker's reach,



Artist Focused



- Kerfuffle is run by artists, so we know a few of the things other artists like:

- 24 hour access

- all gear can stay set-up from one day to the next

Light: Daylight through big translucent roof panels and (optional) open roller door. No possibility to darken the space

Who runs Kerfuffle



Selene Dudley- Bateman and Jens Altheimer are in charge of Kerfuffle Studios.

Selene is known and loved in the Victorian art scene by looking after artist needs and admin through Auspicious Arts.

Jens is a free-lance theatre maker and contraption builder, touring his family shows throughout Australia and engaging in community art projects. You will see lots of his collection of precious junk and touring shows at Kerfuffle.
